Driving

South Dundas is located on Highway 401 providing easy access for those travelling from the East and West. Visitors may also choose to take the scenic route and follow County Rd 2 which spans from Kingston, ON all the way into Quebec. South Dundas is also a short drive from Ottawa via County Rd 31/Bank Street or the nearby Highway 416.

Cycling

Cyclists can follow The Waterfront Trail along the Saint Lawrence River to South Dundas. If travelling south bound, one of the more popular routes is via Stagecoach Road to County Road 1. Riders can choose from the Cornwall & the Counties Cycling Routes or use the resource to create a custom route.

Boating

South Dundas is nestled along the St. Lawrence River making it accessible by boat from the East, West and the United States on the South side of the River. Pleasure craft boaters can visit The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System for nautical charts, tolls, schedules, water levels and other information. South Dundas is the home to a number of marinas and docks for your convenience.

Flying

South Dundas has two airports to provide the ease of flying and landing in our area. One airport is located off of County Rd 2 just out of Morrisburg and the second is off of County Rd 2 in the village of Iroquois.

Iroquois Airport: Located adjacent to Iroquois nearby the shore of the St. Lawrence River. This is a private airport and prior permission is required to land. (John Ross, 613-657-1646).

Morrisburg Airport: Located adjacent to the tourist attraction Upper Canada Village, in an open field area. This airport is operated by the St. Lawrence Parks Commission.
