Community Food Share distributes emergency food aid to the residents of the Dundas and Stormont Counties

Community Food Share has updated our protocols to be in line with the COVID-19 guidelines. To ensure the safety of staff and volunteers our process has been adjusted.

  • Our food banks will remain open during our usual hours.
  • Clients will receive prepared hampers.
Each client is given a five-day supply of nutritionally-balanced food for each family member.
  • Clients are currently allowed to visit once a month. (May be more frequent if justifiable and we have adequate resources).
  • Clients must choose which location they will visit so there is no overlapping service.

If you are in need of food please call to make an appointment on our answering machine. Someone will call you back prior to opening to make an appointment to visit.

Identification and proof of residency is required.
Should you be in isolation you may send someone to pick up food for you. We would require their name and contact information.
