Historical Society of South Dundas Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
A special event is coming to Iroquois on Sunday afternoon, October 24, 2021. “A Walk Through History”.
Join the Historical Society at the John Ross Airport Building to celebrate the placement of 11 historical plaques along the Waterfront Park pathways. Everyone is invited to tour the pathway, view the plaques and to attend the ribbon-cutting. It’s a great opportunity for the kids to learn about the history of Iroquois.
We’ll have a display of historic photographs of the Old Village of Iroquois, along with our history experts who will be delighted to chat about the early days in our village.
Coffee and donuts and plenty of Timbits for the kids!
This event is a collaborative effort: Historical Society of South Dundas, Iroquois Waterfront Committee, and the Iroquois Airport Commission.
