Registration forms can be printed and delivered to the Municipal Office or scanned and emailed to the Supervisor of Parks & Recreation.

Adults

Stick & Puck

This ice time is great for working on your puck control, passing and skating skills. The program will begin on December 1, 2020.

SD Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Club

Looking for a fun and social outdoor winter activity? Join the SD Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Club. Discover local and regional trails during the winter months. All activity levels and ages welcome. Equipment can be obtained from the Lending Library (limited quantity available).

Key Points

  • Participants must register with our Community Program Coordinator before joining.
  • All participants will be given a COVID-19 Action Plan and Waivers to fill out before attending.
  • All participants will sign contact tracing forms before each outing.
  • All participants will receive event information once registered.
  • No cost to participants.

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is fun, fast-paced and exciting. Students will hone their punching and kicking techniques on punching pads, learn aerobic-type kicking and focus on strength and core training. All levels welcome.

Bootcamp

Bootcamp is a co-ed class that offers strength, cardio, flexibility, core and agility training. This class is geared to all levels of fitness. Each class is formatted differently so you will never have the same class twice.

H.I.I.T.

Push yourself to the limit with high intensity interval training. For those looking for a challenge. Train agility, endurance, cardio and strength using body weight movements and a variety of equipment.

Hatha Yoga

Stretching and strength exercises, along with relaxation techniques, help to maintain and improve flexibility and physical health. Yoga helps to calm the nervous system, improve mental focus, and provide an overall sense of well-being.

Taekwon-Do

Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art that teaches various kicks, punches, blocks and techniques used for the main purpose of self-defence. Through consistent training, students will experience improvements in physical fitness, balance and agility, self-confidence, self-control, self-defence, awareness and concentration. Discipline and self-effort are expected. Classes are led by Black Belt VIII Degree, Senior Master Ralph Marin.

Art Hanging Program

The South Dundas Art Hanging Program provides residents of Dundas County with an opportunity to display their work at the South Dundas Municipal Centre for a one year display period. If you are interested in participating in the program, please contact Kalynn Sawyer Helmer at 613-543-2673.

Senior's Yoga

Enjoy the benefits of yoga in an environment that will allow you to exercise at your own comfort level. Participants can perform yoga from a chair or a mat. Ages 50 and up.
