The South Dundas Municipal Budget is comprised of two main elements. The Operating Budget and the Capital Budget. The Operating Budget is funded primarily through property taxes and user fees, and is used to operate Municipal facilities and provide Municipal services and programs to residents. The Capital Budget is funded through property taxes, debt and grants, and is used to either build or rehabilitate assets that will last for more than one year.

Budgets Reports
View the current and prior year budget reports below. Budget deliberation meetings are usually held in January or February of the fiscal year. Once the budget has been finalized, a Budget By-Law will be passed to authorize the amounts. The annual budget is a parameter of the tax rate calculation.
