Any new resident of the Municipality of South Dundas can request a New Resident Package The package will be assembled based on request. If you request a hard copy package, you will be called when it is ready for pickup.

St. Lawrence Medical Clinic
South Dundas is home to the St. Lawrence Medical Clinic where physicians, nurses and support staff provide comprehensive care, while inpatient treatment is available at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, just a short drive away.
Telehealth Ontario
Telehealth Ontario gives you Free Access to a Registered Nurse — 24 Hours a day, 7 days a Week just by calling 1-866-797-0000.
Telehealth Ontario is a free, confidential telephone service you can call to get health advice or general health information from a Registered Nurse. That means quick, easy access to a qualified health professional, who can assess your symptoms and help you decide your best first step.
Telehealth can help you decide whether to care for yourself, make an appointment with your doctor, go to a clinic, contact a community service or go to a hospital emergency room. You do not need to provide your health insurance number and all information is confidential.
REMEMBER: A call to Telehealth Ontario does NOT replace 911 — that’s always the first number you should call in emergency situations!
EOHU
South Dundas falls under the jurisdiction of the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) which is involved in a number of areas pertaining to public health. The EOHU provides services and public information on infection control, chronic disease prevention, healthy babies and children, environmental health, food and water safety, pandemic planning, and the overall promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
The Municipality of South Dundas will publish public notices from the EOHU regarding important issues relevant to South Dundas residents. The community is encouraged to visit EOHU.ca for additional notices, tips and other public health and safety information.
Winchester District Memorial Hospital

ConnexOntario provides treatment service information for people experiencing problems with gambling, drugs, alcohol, and/or mental health.
Helpful, supportive System Navigation Specialists answer all calls, emails or webchat requests 24/7. Our referral service is free and confidential.
ConnexOntario can:
- provide contact information for mental health and addictions treatment services or supports that meet the caller’s specific needs
- listen, offer support and provide strategies to help people meet their goals
- provide basic education about gambling, drugs, alcohol, and/or mental health problems
AffordAbility Fund Trust
The AffordAbility Fund Trust (AFT) is the designated authority for administering and delivering the AffordAbility Fund; its mandate is to make energy more affordable for Ontarians.
Consistent with this aim, an independent and diverse Board of Trustees was put in place to determine how the program could best serve the Trust’s beneficiaries: Ontarians who do not qualify for low-income conservation programs but who want to conserve energy as a way to reduce their electricity bills now and in the future.
