Flags at half mast on National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism

June 23 marks the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism.

The day was chosen to coincide with the anniversary of the Air India Flight 182 tragedy, which occurred on June 23, 1985, killing 208 Canadians. The day was first observed in 2005.

Flags have been lowered to half mast at the Municipality of South Dundas office in recognition.
