The washrooms at Morrisburg Beach will be closed until Thursday, August 31, 2023 to allow staff to complete repairs due to vandalism which occurred over the weekend.
This is unfortunately the third time in the last year that a door has been kicked in. This damage comes at significant cost and takes staff away from other projects happening in our Parks and Facilities.
The public washrooms at Earl Baker Park and the Boat Launch/Docksyde will remain open for those in need of washroom facilities while utilizing the Morrisburg Waterfront.
As we head into September, which is typically a busy month for vandalism, we would like to remind residents if they see suspicious activity in a public park to contact the O.P.P.
