This is also where you can share with us important information regarding your property or occupants, such as vulnerable persons that need assistance to evacuate, the use of a back up generator, contact information, or if you have an electric car that you park in the garage.

Recreational

Apply online or at the office. Call 1-855-956-0650 to activate using the phone number listed on the permit. Permit activation will last for 24 hours. Burning is only permitted between 5:00 pm and Midnight.

Brush & Agricultural

Apply at the South Dundas Municipal Centre.

How high is the risk for fires?

The Municipality monitors fire risk levels daily using the Canadian Wildland Fire Information System. These maps provide a fire rating to determine the risk of fires across the country. Visit their website to see up-to-date maps for the area.
